Jamaica

As the citizens of Jamaica continue to solidify its democracy, civic education and inaccessibility have been a continuous challenge to the country. To support addressing these gaps, IFES began an activity in Jamaica in August 2020 funded by the United States Agency for International Development, partnering with the Office of the Political Ombudsman and the Combined Disabilities Association. Through the Strengthening Jamaica’s Electoral Democracy program, IFES aims to help promote political accountability, citizen participation and voters’ knowledge in Jamaican elections.
