Electoral Technical Assistance for Iraq for Out of Country Voting
At the request of Iraq’s Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) and with funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), IFES is assisting the Commission in the implementation of its Out of Country Voting program (OCV) for the 2010 parliamentary elections. Iraqi citizens abroad will be able to a cast a ballot for candidates at the governorate level with proof of Iraqi citizenship, age and connection to one of Iraq’s 18 governorates.

“GONG’s Campaign,” a feature located in the Croatian Jutarnji newspaper, provides articles outlining the responsibilities of the GONG education in the field of voter education and awareness. In preparation for the 2003 parliamentary elections, this feature contains the legal framework of Croatian elections as well as general information regarding the elections.

Election Observation Report of the Elections to the House of Representatives, Republic of Croatia, 29 October 1995
This report was completed in 1995, shortly after the adoption of new electoral laws in Croatia. IFES election observers arrived to monitor the October 1995 Parliamentary elections. IFES concerns about the new election laws and the manner in which they were adopted along with the consequences of their adoption are discussed in the report. The report also provides a break down and explanation of electoral laws in Croatia.
